My blog title was picked after exclaiming to my friends and family, ” Somedays I just want to be a trophy wife.”   I juggle small business ownership with my {first} husband and my work as a real estate agent (celebrating 8 years in the business)!   I love my work with first time home buyers because they think I am a genious! And, that rarely happens!  I’m Not a Trophy Wife gives me the opportunity to pretend I am the crafty, organized mom who can whip up dinner and dessert in an afternoon.  A girl can dream, right?    On a more serious side, I have a passion for promoting suggestions for reluctant readers and kids with dyslexia!  See my Dyslexia page for details.  I don’t take myself that seriously.   I love Starbucks and chocolate and my Bernese Mountain dog rescue Owen.  I have many roles in my life, but I’m Not a Trophy Wife……. yet!
