Crock pot Lasagna.. Just throw it in the pot!

I have seen this on a few blog rolls and really doubted the success on lasagna in a crock pot. To all the doubters… it works. Not only that my kids started asking for dinner at 3:30pm as the aroma of cheese and sauce wafted through the house!
I layered it like regular lasagna, set the crock pot on low and let it cook for 6 hours.

I didn’t have a recipe, so I just added a little water and sauce (a jar.. gasp!), the non-boil lasagna noodles (greatest invention by a food chemist ever), lean ground turkey, mozzarella cheese, oregano, and cottage cheese (didn’t have ricotta and the cottage cheese worked fine), that’s it (I think). I’m going off {my}memory.

It was a huge score at our house!
