This project inspiration is because of Donna’s amazing blog, Funky Junk Interiors.
I literally get lost in her blog with so many projects, tutorials and her personal journey. Here is a project that caught my eye because it was relatively simple for a newbie on the power tool circuit.
I made my gate wider and taller based on the size of the framed artwork I had on the bookcase. I think my wreath is too small, but it works for now considering every time I walk by it I move the accessories.
My wood came from Home Depot and was less than $15.00. I picked out my gate hardware in the aisle with the garage door/gate hardware. I bought two for about $15.00. I had one mistake on the cross board and there wasn’t enough caulk to hide it! My boys helped paint, sand and “distress” the wood.
