The Favorite Friday Party is back in 2013. Here is my list of my personal favorites. Feel free to link up 1 or 2 of your favorite posts or projects. Please add a text link back to this post. Scroll down below to get this party started!

Here are my most popular DIY projects of 2012.  The most popular was our barn door reveal.  Even our neighbors are stopping by to check this project out.  Everyone is amazed that these solid doors are from LOWE’S.  That just shows you what a little stain can do for a door!  I think I need a little sanding and stain too!  BARN DOORS.. THE POWER OF STAIN AND A SOLID DOOR!

The power of paint was key to this nerve racking decision to gasp… PAINT MY DOORS BLACK. I started with one door (the garage door was safe because only our family sees it).  But, once I painted it.. I just kept going. Painting our front door black was another popular one with the neighbors. I love when a gallon of paint (and primer) makes such a huge difference.   Go ahead ... just do it! The impact of a can of black paint!

This next project took all summer and then some. But, we love the look! This is a 2 person job with the deck renovation. We saved over 50% by doing this project on our own! We pulled out the rotting boards and replaced with a recycled deck material. No more staining or warping! This deck can handle the Colorado hot, dry and the extreme temperature changes in the winter! LOVE this deck and can’t wait to add some bling to it in 2013:
