Here is my PB Inspired Mantel. This spring, I reconfigured the space and this mantel lost its lease to a flat screen!
I missed the mantel and the detail from the stain and repeat sandings. And, as silly as it sounds, this mantel represented my ability to create something with power tools and sweat equity.
So this summer I found a perfect spot in our bathroom. Yes, the bathroom! It’s a wall above the tub and adjacent to a huge picture window. So, I primed, sanded, painted, hammered, and re- sanded. I actually used a ceiling white color that was leftover from my daughter’s room.
I love it! I still need to find some things to add to it. It matches the white trim and I love that the lighter color pops against my brown walls. Love it!
