Dining Room Before and After Paint

Hi there~

How is it that the idea of painting one small guest bath leads to 3 rooms, new lighting and window treatment overhauls. We are spending too many Benjamins. Like my son said after Christmas shopping for the family, “Mom, I was shedding twenties.” We are shedding Benjamins and it all started with a $35.00 can of paint.

Here are some before shots of the dining room:

And, the ceiling tray is painted a Benjamin Moore HC 76 (I think):

Here is the after photo. The lighting is a little off, but here is the color. It’s Benjamin Moore, Mount Saint Anne. It looks like Tiffany blue in this photo, but it has more grey.

I got my inspiration from this table runner from World Market. It has the color that I wanted and the browns that I already have in the house.

Here is the after photo. Yes, this photo was taken on May 1st and yes that is snow. Check out Tanner staring through the window! This is just a sneak peak of the dining room.

And, to think this ongoing transformation started with a can of paint.
Stay tuned for more changes and ideas! Thanks for following!
